Why?

Let's address the elephant in the room - why on Earth would Lendable host its own developer conference?

Well, the answer is simple; we're a successful Fintech startup and we have a lot of experienced folks. Our engineers and data scientists have worked across the whole gamut of industries and companies, and they have a lot of knowledge to share.

The initial idea behind the conference was to enable sub-teams within the company to present their work, discuss ideas, talk about problems and solutions, have fun, and get to know each other a bit better.

As we started to plan the nitty-gritty, we soon realised that we had some useful stuff that we could share with the world. On top of that, we thought it would be fun to push the boundaries; to see if we could be pioneers in hosting a conference which could simultaneously host both in-person and remote attendees, and be equally exciting and engaging for everyone.

The outcome of our initial plan: a conference which is both in-person and remote! Are you mad!?

It's going to be interesting to see how it works out!

Who's speaking?

At Lendable we employ a number of industry experts on different subjects. For this first conference we've selected speakers from within our own ranks who will speak about projects they've worked on within Lendable as well as on industry best practices, tech, and new ideas. Perhaps next year we'll see your name on the list too...
